27 Steps

Caroga Arts Ensemble

27 Steps is an original immersive and curated performance piece conceived by Kyle Price and Julian Müller in collaboration with Matilda Sakamoto, Jordan Morley, Nancy Long, CLMF Artists, and lighting designer Elliott Lester. 27 Steps is inspired by the concept of starling poetry, invented by Fordham Professor of English, Christopher GoGwilt, where all words or scenes can be told and experienced in any order making every performance truly a one-of-a-kind experience for the performer and audience. The story of 27 Steps touches on the journey of love and loss between two individuals who meet in a chance encounter. Inspired by an original song and lyrics of the late Jonah Poplove, 27 Steps features original music by Kyle Price and Julian Müller, along with compositions from the classical music canon and popular songs. 27 Steps brings the audience into a theatrical immersive experience that blurs the lines of reality and imagination and spurs conversation on love and mental health.
